Emergency Services
When a low-income mom contacts G.E.M.S. she is interviewed and assessed. We create a plan to address the most
important need that must be met. We network with other charities and organizatons to help our families find housing,
nutrition, emergency services they may need. Families get care packages, with food and personal
hygiene items. Assistance is available to access resources and othe services beyond our scope of assistance.

- Personal Enlightenment
Food
G.E.M.S. provides emergency food and pantry referrals. If requested G.E.M.S. provides lunches for small children
that may have to accompany parents to long appointments and are traveling by bus.
Clothing
If needed moms are given clothing for themselves and their children.
Personal Hygiene
We provide personal hygiene items to moms in need.
Enrichment Activities
G.E.M.S. partners with child care facilities to provide safe and loving environments for families to play and learn.
Family Stability Plan
We offer a special lifeskills training to hel moms get out of generational poverty cycles and to increase their chances
of family stability and increase academic acheivement in their children.
Back in Action Plan
Credit Repair and Counseling, and Financial Planning pave the way to successful money management once permanent employment
is secured.
