	G.E.M.S. which stands for Getting Every Mother Situated is a 501 c (3) charitable non-profit organization that provides emergency assistance, referrals, and resources to low-income, battered, homeless, and single mothers. We provide eviction prevention, stop utility disconnection, and assist needy families with household and personal hygiene items, diapers, and transportation as well as the many other needs that may arise during the month. We also provide referrals and resourceful information to meet those needs that are beyond our scope of assistance. G.E.M.S. COMMUNITY PICNIC

	G.E.M.S. COMMUNITY PICNIC 2009 was a huge success! Familiar faces were remembered and new friends were made. Families attened our community picnic for a meet and greet where they were informed of the life changing programs G.E.M.S. has to offer.

ALL PROGRAMS HAVE ELEMENTS OF OTHER PROGRAMS THAT HAVE BEEN PROVEN TO AID IN THE FIGHT AGAINST ABUSE, HUNGER, AND HOMELESSNESS. PROGRAM INFORMATION POSTED ON THIS SITE ARE PROGRAMS THAT HAVE ASSISTED THE FOUNDER OF GEMS AND THE FAMILIES WE SERVE MOVE ON TO A BETTER LIFE.
